Shipping

We ship gems domestically within the United States, including P.O. boxes and military APOs. At this time, we do not ship internationally. Shipping times depend on your location. The USPS site quotes, but does not guarantee, 2 - 8 business days for domestic delivery. Expect longer shipping times for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands.

Potential delays due to high volume of orders, inclement weather, or postal service problems may occur and are outside of our control.

Customers are responsible for shipping costs. Shipping rates are calculated by the shipping companies. 

Ship items at your own risk. Items will be insured with shipping carriers, and is the buyers responsibility to file a claim should an item go missing or become damaged during shipment. We will not refund for lost or damaged orders. 

Local Pickup

Free local delivery is available for orders over $75 within the Hampton Roads area. For orders under $75, we charge $10 for local delivery.

Deliveries are made between 9am - 6pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. We will contact you via the email you provide at checkout to arrange a delivery time and date.

Order Processing

We are a small business with a small crew. Please allow 2 - 3 days (excluding weekends and holidays) for your order to be processed for shipping. We make every effort to fulfill orders as quickly as possible. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

Vintage Disclaimer

Emerald Shelf sells vintage home decor. We do our very best to check over and describe the condition of pieces to the best of our ability. We do not offer a warranty, as we haven't manufactured these vintage pieces. Most of our inventory is between 30-60 years old. If something breaks or malfunctions after purchase, Emerald Shelf is not responsible for fixing, replacing, or accepting a return.
